I knew I was high risk, but it's scary they also think so and sent the text!
Hi try Iceland for a delivery they have a reasonable selection and seem to have a reasonable delivery system . I don't know if they deliver to your area .
They release slots throughout the day so once your shopping done keep going on one can pop up .
I usually manage a Morrisons slot at 6am for delivery two weeks time .
Good luck
edit YAYY ! Just got a slot for tomorrow came up at 1.45 Iceland

Me and my group of friends are taking it in turns to get deliveries and we all looking out for each other then dropping bits off at front doors! We haven't been able to get a Sainsbury or Tesco slot for 2 weeks but I got an Iceland slot for tomorrow- yeah! Only thing is you are limited to 2 bottles of wine....
Been trying for a few hours...it was Iceland I used when I was getting chemo last year...only showing slots for next 3 days, all booked. Sainsbury's say you have to wait on them contacting you before you can try for a 'vulnerable person' slot. Looks like I'll need to rely on my friend...I hate asking for help!...plus he refused to give me his bank details or take any money which just stressed me more. He has just sent me his bank details as I told him I was sitting here getting upset and would need to go shopping in person...as I did last week.
Sure there are no local corner shops delivering or farm shops nearby. There is an app called Snappyshopper which has helped us.

Hey, read your post with interest and I thought you migth like to know I saw on the Asda website about a Volunteer Shopping card you can put money on and it can then be used like a credit/bank card by whoever is shopping for you ?
Don 't go out shopping, but please don't stress ( says I, who is stressing about shopping!!) I can understand your friends positiopn trying to help but also you need to feel independent you can meet half way I'm sure. Be strong, be smiley, be safe xx lizi xx
Hi
leave your shopping basket full on Iceland site then keep going back to the delivery whenever you got minute . It was looking fully booked this morning for me for the next four days but then they release more as day goes on so that's how I managed to get for Tomorrow . It's a pain but at least when you get one it's within the week usually the next day.
Also look to see if your council have set up a hub to help with essentials and volunteers to shop .
also google fruit and veg delivery for ..your area ..

My text arrived this afternoon from Gov.uk,
Sainsbury's had emailed me on Monday, then an hour later ASDA, have a slot for this Friday with Sainsbury's but no availability showing for 3 weeks after that not sure if they've all gone already or if they releasing slots gradually at random times? Going to search for some smaller shops who deliver or potential to collect from back door straight into car.
My hayfever has kicked off big time today streaming, itchy eyes and nose, sneezing.
I'm still not convinced about the risks of my radiotherapy sessions as I was left waiting 30 mins in an open corridor area yesterday. Lots of staff wandering through some masked, some not there was no option to wait outside so felt quite trapped .
Hi Autumn49, if you can try to get your next slot with Asda, you'll see that they are offering recurring slots for those on the government database, between now and October - you choose whether you want weekly, fortnightly or whatever.
Hope that helps. I felt happy knowing that I was sorted out until October!
Yay!!...got an Iceland delivery slot for tomorrow...only took me about 20 hours and I've now got a repetitive strain injury from pressing the refresh button! What I've learned...don't put alcohol in your basket till after you secure a slot...I got one at 12.38 last night but it was an alcohol restricted slot...by the time I edited my basket I lost it!...so I got another one at 11 today, for 5pm tomorrow, then added my alcohol :)
This is a topsy turvy world where we're all getting so excited at getting a supermarket delivery slot!
I got the email from Sainsburys this morning and have managed to get a delivery slot for Saturday 11th. I don't normally do Easter Eggs but somehow I wanted eggs this time, probably just some way of marking the event, so Easter Eggs was the first thing in my basket.
Hope everyone gets a much needed delivery soon and don't forget to add a little chocolate because we deserve it.
XOXO
