I had my 5 year mammogram last week. There were signs of calcifications so going for a biopsy this Wednesday. A year last September I had my gallbladder out as i had 2 x 1/2" gallstones. I now have a 6 cm cyst on my ovary and waiting to have an operation in April to have both ovaries and tubes out. Got lots of pain and nausea, can't wait to part with the cyst but dreading the biopsy. 3 ops in less than 5 years is taking it's toll and all the positivity i had has taken a nosedive. Still not as bad off as most so need to stay focused and positive but it is hard sometimes.

  • Hi Pinkheart welcome to the forum.

Those calcifications need checked out so it sounds like this is imminent for you and at least then you will have some peace of mind.

I can relate to how you are feeling and thinking about being unwell on and off for so long it does take its toll on you. Im fed up being not well and mine has only been going on since November last year so I can empathise with you because Im sure if you are like me you will be sick of the sight of Doctors and hospitals and I mean that in the nicest possible way.

It is very hard sometimes but we are here and we have lived to tell the tale so turn that frown upside down and Im doing the same and can finally see light at the end of the tunnel and so will you.

Chin up and paint on that smile. Sending some huge big hugs your way . xxxxx

    HI Gail

Thank you for your lovely reply. I had the biopsy last Wednesday, i got a phone call today to ask me to go see my consultant on Friday to get the biopsy results, so it is going to be a long week.

One of the things i am dreading is having to cope with my designated cancer nurse who was not very nice and made me feel like a fraud. But she is the least of my worries at the moment.

I hope you are doing ok and staying strong, huge hugs back at you :) xxx
