Hi not been on in a while, update and a question for you xx
I've finished all my treatment rang bell twice had single mastectomy with expander, infection then expander removed, other breast removed with expander and new expander put in in old mastectomy side 10 days ok, drains took out today, thank heavens.
Now the question is I forgot to ask bcn am I allowed to sleep on my side, cant remember how soon I was allowed the 1st time back in june last year ?, I'm in bed now left side which was done in june but now has new expander in is less sore but right side hurts when resting my arm on it, should I wait a little bit longer ?

if it’s painful I wouldn’t lie on it , I would protect any painful area , pillow tucked under arm etc . You may turn in Your sleep but I think if it’s painful , you will automatically turn back . I had immediate reconstruction using my own tissue ( don’t talk fat 
). So didn’t have expander. But usually it’s best to protect a painful area until you ask your BCN in Monday .
