Hi all just wanted to reassure any ladies having a mad panic as I was 2 days ago about surgery...I'm a day after the op & it was easy..no pain waking up in pain & any discomfort is handled with painkillers..I'm up & about ...so absolutely no need for anyone to worry as I did

Hi lovey...no I'm definitely having reconstruction and if they dont match I'll even have both done...I'm really sporty but also wear glam tops..bikinis on holiday....and the op really was a walk in the park...get the heart cushion for under your arm from breast cancer foundation and the v cushion is great for sleeping if you have a mastectomy...I can do reconstruction after had treatment finished

I’m all up in the air at the mo....been told implants won’t look good on me as skin is thin and no breast tissue as breasts very small. Thinking about the TUG but have read lots of negative things. I’m now in the mind that as I’m so small breasted anyway - it won’t make much difference to stay flat. Lots of thinking to be done.

Hi
Also small very slim built and dont like the false boob look so I'll struggle also but I've not looked into anything yet...Angelina jolie had a double mastectomy & has had both done & I think they look natural but I've no idea what procedure she had...do whatever is right for you...to be honest if you haven't much bust it wont really effect you too much mentally so you have the choice on going flat or reconstruction
Good luck x
Yes tbh that’s how I felt at the start. Just want ‘it’ out and off ASAP. I was going to leave it and a delayed TUG - just in case I couldn’t cope with being flat, but then it wouldn’t be a skin sparring recon. I need a crystal ball! :))) good luck with yours xxx
Hi
You ll be absolutely fine...I also had a full lymph node removal as well as mastectomy...i had the drains out yesterday I felt nothing....keep taking your pain killers & the codeine is wonderful at night it knocks you out...but really not a bad op...I'm panicky about the reconstruction I think that's the sore bit...
Best of luck
