Does anyone use bio-oil on their mastectomy scar and, if so, do you think that it has made a difference? I'd be interested to hear what your experiences have been.

  • I use Home Bargins own version ( think it says stretch mark oil on the box). I started using it to try and even out the markings left by the radiotherapy ( lots of thread veins ) as I was told that these were permanent. Things do look less obvious now , and as the bottle is just as cheap as a moisturiser I think I’ll continue with it.

I've used bio oil for about 6 years on my skin and yes it does make a difference to the appearance of scars. Nit cheap but a little goes a l8ng way. A large bottle lasts about year. You do need tonalow 2-3 months before you start to see any changes .
