DCIS recurrence after 3 years?

At my 3 year mammogram I had results in day and they did US and biopsy on my good right boob (Dcis on left treated with surgery and radiotherapy).  I had results 5 days later and biopsy indicated nothing untoward- they thought I had knocked and bruised breast.  I had to go back again for a further mammogram just to make sure but whatever they had seen previously was gone.  My year 4 mammogram was clear .

It’s so stressful isn’t it!  I think it was 3 weeks in total before told ok as they had to squeeze me in for repeat mammogram.  Fingers crossed you get all clear.  Xx

Hi Grogg,

Had an ultrasound and a biopsy.  I have an appointment next Thursday 5th March for the results.  Fingers crossed that it has not returned!
