I was just wondering if anyone else has made a visual of their cancer journey. I have done a build a bear cancer journey - here they are Mo (my chemo rabbit), Amp (my mastectomy sloth - play on the word amputation!) and Zap (my Radiotherapy guy) all with little ribbons with their names on! I know I’m a wally! But I don’t want to look back on the experience badly. It hasn’t been easy and some bits have been brutal but I’m alive and that’s what matters.
Love it Eileen ! Don't think your being a wally at all .
I've just got photos of hair ,short hair ,no hair hopefully back to hair short ,then longer lol
Didn't ring bell at end of chemo as didn't feel finished with Herceptin on three weekly cycle for year .so no pic of that .
So think cuddly memories great

Northerner lovely to hear from you. I have those photos too lol. I’ve recently started penning a status for Facebook - I kept all of this off Facebook and only told those people I needed to so I decided once I’ve finished radio and celebrated my daughters wedding I’ll put an update on to say I beat it xxx
What a great post. where did you find the brown boar? Or is it an elephant. Whatever..I want one. Anything which makes us smile is a fingers up to cancer. We all have our really bad moments, but we all need to smile as well. So thanks again. I am sure children will love the idea. It will normalise things for them.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
