I really thought I was sailing through this, surgery for grade 2 stage 1b 9mm tumour found on routine mammogram then 15 sessions of radiotherapy, thankfully no chemo
I was told symptoms would get worse when radiotherapy finished before it got better, certainly true for me. The burns are getting worse every day and blisters now bursting. I have an appointment at hospital to have my breast dressed as they say it may become infected. So tired too and so painful. Still a small price to pay
Panti liners great for stopping skin sticking together under your breast and to stop any pressure from bra. My BCN laughed at me as she had given me expensive mediplex dressings but they irritated and stuck to my skin. Apparently soldiers use sanitary towels to stop friction /pressure sores from their rucksacks!
