I had my mastectomy Dec 18 and completed chemotherapy in May 19. All my results were great and in the last few weeks I am battling tiredness again. I’ve had blood tests which are normal but I wanted to ask if this is normal to get these bouts of tiredness 6 months plus after finishing treatment. I am fed up of always feeling tired and want to break the cycle. I am 63 I exercise daily & try to have a healthy diet. Any notes or guidance would be greatly appreciated. PS: holiday is also booked!
Hi
i finished treatment in August 18 ! I still get odd bouts of fatigue ! I was told when getting chemo that the side effects can last 2 years !
im 64 and trying to get fitter .
I find with fatigue that’s it’s best not to battle it . So one day of exercise and being busy followed by one day of relaxation doing hobbies and seeing a friend or snoozing ! It’s a very flat time of year and I think lots of people feel tired just now . Just go with the flow and try not to worry .
great you have your holiday booked , We might go away in February, nothing booked yet .
I have had some reflexology and it’s excellent , they try to address any problems you may have - I am sleeping better . It’s a nice wee pamper .
well I better get some sleep as I’m getting my nails done at 9.45 !!
take Care
