hi
i had my mastectomy 2 weeks ago and snb. Back at hospital Monday for full results and treatment plan.
Im in the dark as to when they would give radiotherapy or not. If they have got all the cancer why do I need radiotherapy? Same goes for chemotherapy.
I want everything for my best chance but I’m so scared of more surgery and needles.
I haven’t accepted my diagnosis yet. It hasn’t hit me yet.
Good to hear your op done and hopefully you're doing well .
Not long to wait for your treatment plan now ...but try to enjoy weekend without second guessing you'll tie yourself in knots lol
Everything depends on results of initial biopsies and or further biopsies done at op .
If I remember you had your HER neg results back prior ..whereas I got mine Her pos after .
So I went in knowing it could be anything from a tablet a day or full works .My results were all cancer removed S nodes clear YAY BUT... Because mine is HER2 -pos I got chemo then Herceptin will start cos of age ..post menopause .I get Bisphosphonate infusion all to prevent .
You are HER 2 Neg so any plan you get will be different to mine . We are all different no point in spoiling your weekend guessing .
Its just the waiting game getting to you plus only two weeks since op try to distract and relax .
Sunshine in the NE so I'm off to coast for fresh air of day 11 of chemo cycle so feeling more human today lol
