Hi all,
Booked in for ovary and Fallopian tube removal tomorrow in day surgery unit.
Just wondering if anyone has had this, what the recovery time is like? I know everyone is different but a rough idea would be much appreciated
thanks xx
Hello Beans79, I guess there won't be too many ladies on this group having gone through this, so just in case you don't receive a reply. Try posting your question on the ovarian group. Obviously explain that you are from the breast cancer group, but they are much more likely to have more experience of ovary/fallopian tube removal.
I do hope your surgery goes well.
Kindest wishes,
Dear Beans79,
I can't help with recovery times, however, I did hear this program on BBC Radio 4 the other day.
This is for ovarian removal and freezing and it was said it was 'key hole' surgery.
I have attached a link to radio conversation and also to the main hospital offering this treatment on the NHS...
I hope this will help....

I am sorry I can't help any more than this.
Sending love and hugs xx
