Hi - I’m sure someone on here can advise me please. I’ve been finished my radiotherapy only 2 days and the itching is driving me mad . My skin is actually in good condition it’s just the relentless itching. I was given cortisone cream by radiotherapist nurse but it’s not really doing it for me ?? I’m thinking of getting some Eura
Cream but not sure if it’s ok to use on radiotherapy skin?? Anybody else used it or can recommend something PLEEEEEASE - I’m climbing the walls at the moment
.
Any suggestions will be very much appreciated.
Hi
Have you tried Piriton on any other antihistamine to see if that helps ?
It has helped some of the ladies here previously.

Hello Dreamthief - thanks for advice - I’d not even thought of tablets - but thank you I will def give them a try.
Hi Nanny frog
I have used lanacane cream on itchy skin and my scar after surgery. That's once the scar was closed. The skin seemed sensitive to touch, assumed nerve damage, it has an anaesthetic in it. Obviously check with pharmacy or BC nurse. They don't seem as hyper cautious now, not like they were.
Fingers crossed.
Hi Nanny Frog,
I took antihistamines which helped. I also avoided letting hot water in the shower on it, in-fact i had slightly cooler showers and didn't let the water hit the breast directly.
Apparently you can get a stronger hydrocortisone cream from the docs.
