Hi
(For new readers who may be interested have a look at my profile)
Had an appointment today for follow up after radiotherapy. The gorgeous consultant (and ladies he is a really handsome man) was very happy with how radiotherapy has gone. But very concerned about how my mobility is deteriorating and how quickly. He asked what tests I'd had done and looked at results. Said I needed an MRI on my back to see what the nerves are doing. Tried to organise one today but no slots. Do has decided to admit me. Home at moment waiting for a call that a bed is free. Likely to be tonight or tomorrow morning. In the meantime he is stuffing me with steroids (bye bye sleep).
I am quite happy to go in. Will hopefully get a whole raft of tests and see a neurologist while I'm there. Okly downside is it is not my local hospital but where I had op and radiotherapy. 75 mile round trip. But I can live with that if they can get to bottom of issues and help improve my current situation.
So sending hubby to pack bag soon on readiness. Better write everything down.....
Such sad news about
Condolences to her family and friends

Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Another thank you to for letting us know the sad news. So sorry to hear about lovely . She always managed to be so positive even when things seemed only to get grimmer. Can’t believe that about this time last year her posts were often about her preparations for the Buckingham Palace garden party. Glad you met her , she was a fine lady indeed just from her online presence. We used to joke about the therapeutic value of scones.
Thinking of you, dear . HFxxxx
.....thank you for letting us know this sad news.I was only chatting with Annjac last week because as you will know she had a device that wrote her speech. It's such a shock and so sad as she was just beginning to enjoy her new bungalow with all it's special adaptations. After all those months of fighting for her problems to be recognised and all the uncomfortable time she spent hospitalized.....it seems so unfair to have happened at this time.
I only had Annjac's personal electronic details so please can you pass on my sincere condolences to her family. This is going to be very hard for them. It's such a loss.......Thankfully they were a close, loving family and they will have many good memories of Annjac from before her illnesses and whilst they can't replace her, these will be something to hold onto.
Annjac was a very brave and caring lady. Despite tremendous personal difficulties, she always tried to be upbeat and positive on this site so that those who were afraid and anxious wouldn't be further worried by her own situation which she has always stressed was rare. The illness that was triggered was debilating and demoralising. Last week she tried to hide from me that she was losing her speech but I knew because of the errors on the device. Perhaps now Annjac you can have some peace for yourself without anymore pain and suffering? Much love.

Hi all I wanted to add to my post that I have the utmost respect for she showed such dignity and strength on here x
Thank youLacomtekp for letting us know how was going on. I’m so glad she got to live in her bungalow and enjoy the extra help and amenities. So sad that she had such a short time. A terrible disease, borne with such courage and fortitude. She was an inspiration to all of us. Condolences to her family.

Thank you Lacomtekp for letting us all know that had some time in her bungalow, with as many gadgets as possible. So very sorry her time there was so short. She was incredibly brave and still stayed cheerful on site, bless her.....such a cruel disease.
If you’re still in touch please pass on my love and condolences to her family and I’m sure too, to very many friends.
Hugs xxx
