Hi alll name is Gene,

and was diagnosed with breast cancer back in March I  had my breast removed the same month 3 weeks into my chemo I had  full body scan .  only to be told that it has spread to the muscle behind my breast bone and is inoprable  the type of cancer

I have is HER2 2 positive

  • Hi Gene,

Welcome to the forum, one I'm sure that you'd rather not be on. Have they done a PET scan to see if it's definitely connected to your breast cancer, or done a small biopsy on it?? Would you consider getting a second opinion elsewhere?

It's hard to suggest anything else with more information (size, nodes affected etc) , but I'm so sorry that you are going through all this. I had 2 CT scans and a full body bone scan when one of my sentinel nodes were affected, and those two weeks were the worst of my life:(

Lots of virtual hugs to you. x

  • Hi ,

Nice to meet you, although sorry you find yourself here. Sounds like you have had a rough few months. How you getting on with the Chemo? Hope you aren’t suffering too much!

I’m sure others will be along to say Hi. But feel free to post on other threads and ask anything you want, someone is bound to be able to answer your questions. Think the biggest piece of advice that we give newbies is DON’T google!! Dr Google tends to be out of date, a lot of the time. Better sticking to this site, the Breast Cancer Care site and talking to your Oncologist or Breast Care Nurse!

Look forward to getting to know a bit more about you! Not sure if you have filled in your profile page yet, I will have a look. If you’d like to find out a bit more about me then have a look at my profile, hopefully it won’t bore you too much Stuck out tongue winking eye

Okay I really must go to sleep, or it’ll be time to get up before I know it! Sending you a ((((((((((((WELCOME HUG)))))))))))))))) Sal xxxxx
