After surgery

Hi everybody I was diagnosed breast cancer Dec 2018 surgery Jan 2019 luckily lymph nodes clear. Had radiation finished in March 2019. Tramadol gives me side effects that I did not even get in my change of life. But I am sticking with it currently. I am 66 now. I have never felt the cold but fo now. It's been a roller coaster but we as a family take each day as a bonus. I do have one question is it normal to get short sharp intermittent pain in breast, under arm and arm. To a greater extent I feel lucky I found so early but coupled with a greater medical history I do feel challenged at times. Thank you for listening

Hi Sharonuk1953 welcome to the forum.

So sorry to hear your news but also glad to hear that your op and treatment is past for you thats great news.

I am intrigued with the Tramadol. Is that related to your breast cancer treatment or for something else going on for you?

Despite you finishing the treatment the radiotherapy continues to work for some time after the last session. You also have to heal inside and for the nerves to reconnect which sounds like the type of pain that you are describing. However, if it persists and becomes any worse then please do go see your GP and get it checked out.

Silly me predictive text should be tamoxifen not tramadol would be in trouble allergic to it .
