Hello to you lovely ladies on AI’s

I've been on Letrozole for over a year and am still getting hot flushes, worse now I’ve just returned from the coast where the lovely sea breezes helped loads!

i live in northern Bucks so humidity in these weather conditions is high and it makes it so much worse!

any bright ideas to help? I’ve found a hand held rechargeable fan is brilliant.....

  • Moomy I am the same no matter what I try doesn't seem to help at my physio appt today we had to keep stopping as I was dripping so annoying x

  • It’s a pain, isn’t it? I have to keep an old hanky of hubs handy just to wipe the sweat away, hands get hot too, but it’s far worse around my hairline.

Hope the physio helps you though

  • We have a big fan and light combination on the bedroom ceiling- a godsend in very hot weather, though DH likes the heatSlight frown

I have been known to put towels n the freezer then wrap myself in them, either up and about or in bed. I have a fan in every room, and wear cold(freezered) headbands, abpnd of course a hat outside, Sun with facecarry large quantities of water with me, and drink loads, with the usual result of course!. I always wear a hat outside, dous rather spoil  spoil thehair and makeup, but what can you do???Sun with faceSun with faceSun with faceSun with face

Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!

  • My post has gone AWOL........

We have a big fan /light in the bedroom ceiling, a godsend .Fans in every other room, and keep the curtains close as the sun hits the house,

I have been known to put towels in the freezer, and wrap then round me, either up and about or in bed. I wear a hat outside, and wear as little as possible. Where I can I Go swimming. Tepid baths help, too. Also,I drink loads, helping to prevent dehydration.Getting n a breeze us very helpful if you can

    Good luck everyone xx
