Quick question ladies - how rough should I feel lost chemo?

I started EC\T last Thursday - fatigue is shocking, had to cancel my holiday today and have literally been horizontal all day. I know advice is to get fresh air and exercise, but I had to lie down after just getting up for the loo and dressing my little one.

the nausea is bareable, I'm eating little and often and drinking plenty

anyone else experienced this???

It effects everyone differently. I was like you. Others are not so bad. Rest lots and keep drinking water. Check your temperature regularly and call your chemo unit if it feels like you should. I was hospitalised twice with zero neutrophils even though I didn’t have a raised temperature.  I just felt dreadful. Chemo unit checked my blood and I had no neutrophils. If that happens you need iv antibiotics urgently, so get checked if you don’t feel right. Best of luck with treatment. It’s not great but you will get through it. X
