Hi, I haven't been on here for quite a while. I am nearly 6 years clear following a double lumpectomy followed by radiotherapy and tamoxifen.
At Christmas of last year, I had an awful flu which after 5 weeks got progressively worse. My breathing was very bad and I had a persistent cough, coupled with weight loss of stone and half over 5 week period and utter fatigue.
I went to my doctor who sent me for an x ray (January) which showed fluid on the lungs. I was given antibiotics and a further x ray a month later (February). As the fluid had not dissipated, I was scheduled for a CT scan in April. A further CT Scan was carried out this week which showed my lungs and heart appeared fine but the build up of fluid had increased. I am now scheduled to have a biopsy of the fluid.
am also due a mammogram on 25th of this month as I have been experiencing pain, itchiness and hotness in right breast (cancer was in both breasts), together with feeling of swelling under right arm.
Trying not to overthink and wonder if anyone else has had similar issues?
