I had my wide local excision and sentinel lymph node biopsy on Wednesday which went well, however I have stiffness and pain in the front of my neck. I believe it is lymph nodes as opposed to glands. Did anyone else feel this, just want reassurance that all is well.
It’s very difficult to help someone with a question like this as it’s difficult to understand exactly where your pain is and when it hurts! However as your surgery was not long ago it could be from lying in an odd position on the operating table?? Assuming it’s muscular pain!
However any pain that is enough to be worrying you should be mentioned to your surgeon, who is usually contacted through your specialist Nurse Or through their secretary! So give them a ring and see what they any ,xxx
I hope you get it sorted and start feeling better soon. Sal xxx
Thanks for replying. It feels like the glands in my neck, both sides are swollen and painful.I’ll give it today and if it doesn’t improve I’ll phone the clinic.
