I started my radiotherapy on Wed and had a swollen red hot boob a few hours after treatment. I was told to use Aloe and only Aloe Vera 99 which I have. There has only been redness and no swelling on subsequent 2 radiotherapy treatments thankfully. The radiotherapist said they wouldn't expect problems on first treatment and wondered if it was the Aloe . I have also had a large haematoma and only just gone for radiotherapy due to healing problems.
HAs anyone else had any swelling problems early treatment or probs with Aloe?

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing problems after having radiotherapy. I don't have any experience to offer, as I haven't had radiotherapy, but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies. By responding to you it will bump it back to the top of the page where hopefully it'll be seen by someone who has the right experience to share with you.
While you're waiting you could try typing Aloe into the search bar in this group to see if there have been any previous posts about this. Alternatively you could post your question in ask a nurse and one of the cancer nurses will aim to respond within 2 working days.
