Hi I have just been diagnosed with breast cancer and am now on letrazole. Can I still have my hair coloured (I have lots of grey hair otherwise Joy)

  • My advice would be to do a strand test. You will then see what it does to the hair. If you go to a hairdresser they can do this for you. X

Thank you, only been diagnosed for 3 weeks and heard so many horror stories that I decided to try you guys, so glad I did.

  • As has been mentioned post here as we can all supply non judgemental, open and honest support. All from people living and surviving breast cancer.

All emotions are acceptable. No question too big, small or silly. All rants given air time and shoulders to cry on too.

Time to make you, your emotions and mental health a top priority. Even if it means being a little selfish

Anything you can do to make you smile then do it. Hair colour. Nails painted. I invested in 2 kick ass red lipsticls. And honed my galloping Miranda style gallop on my way to surgery.

    Be gentle with yourself

Life is like a boxing match, defeat is declared not when you fall ..... But when you refuse to stand up again ....... So, I get knocked down but I get up again. x
