But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Good thinking, Karen22, I guess planning my next trip should be a priority now for early spring, maybe?!
Your first picture of the lane makes me think of moving forward, well posted…..and encouraging too….
Next, however, is Christmas which will be at daughters again.

Yes, moomy Spring plans sound good.
Lovely to be with your daughter for Christmas. We have five sons between us, and don’t really get a look in on Christmas Day. I don’t mind though, will be trying to see 4 out of 5 before. My eldest lives in Brisbane, so just always looking forward to when I can see him next.
On another note - this village has population of 500, it’s got bar/restaurant, bank, 2 supermarkets, health centre, pharmacy, children's playground, children’s clothing shop, church, bull ring, and a 11 pitch Moho stopover with water, waste etc. Oh, and exercise machines….
Just what are we doing wrong in UK?
Good you’re perking up moomy Got to confess to watching a fair bit of football today. I need to be more selective !!?? Walking and exercise needed tomorrow and maybe some meditation. Need to de-stress and be more on an even keel as been feeling not quite myself lately. Have had a virus this past week so might account for being more tired and sluggish mentally. Hey ho tomorrow is another day.. Hope you continue to improve ... have a good night.

Sleep took a long time coming, but I did have a good night in the end, had worn some warm trousers yesterday so my legs and feet were toasty warm when I got to bed.
Today is a lunch in London as the company who manage wealth are going to bring some more of their clients for a day at the museum, I’m involved as I’m the token ‘Wren’, we are meeting to discuss the day. (Rail fare will be reimbursed I’m sure!)
on the 12th the whole Bombe team will meet for the first time in ages, and go for lunch again. That too is paid for!
A touching email from the chap who began the whole process of the Bombe rebuild, he wants to get a photo of hubs framed to go on the wall near the one of one of the Rebuild engineers who is sadly missed, again a cancer taking him too soon. I’ve a lovely photo of hubs demonstrating Enigma which he’d love to use.
