But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Moomy
I’m feeling much brighter today, thankfully, thank you all for the love you’ve sent, it was honestly felt! Bless you all.
Some of my orders for December (no I’m not going to say ‘that word’!) have arrived today, only one now to come on Sunday….but need to order some more!
I’ve managed some yoga today as my back has been more painful recently. I’ve got pain due to a degenerative severe severe scoliosis Yoga does seem to help (along with CBD oil!). I’ve also done a good stint at trying to learn one piece which I’ve found very difficult for the coming concert. Thankfully our conductor has put down some audio files to help, so I’ve worked with them.

I’m a couple of days late but sending hugs moomy I hope your practise/rehearsal goes well. How’s your back today? You’re getting well prepared for December. This year we aren’t sending as many Christmas cards and also don’t have much to do regarding presents either, which is usually the norm when I think about it !!! I’ve always wanted to be away for Xmas but everything would be closed here. I’m hoping to be in India for Xmas next year. Need to plan ahead to get reasonably priced flight at that time of the year.

My back is behaving a bit better today, thankfully, Flossie25, thanks for asking! How is your eye doing?
Rehearsal went ok, just home and lunched. There are still spots that need work and the MD has asked for an extra run next Monday which I can’t do. Just hope my work at home in the meantime helps!

Pleased your back is a bit better moomy Eye treatment is ongoing, every 8 weeks. I’m due a review in January. The fluid is reducing but vision remains distorted in that eye. It must be really good to be a singer moomy and in a choir. Very good for health and mood. I did consider looking for a choir (rock) but the the pandemic arrived. I should give it a go.
