But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

It’s that abemaciclib I’m sure. I have throat, runny eyes and sinus issues to a lesser or greater extent quite a lot of the time, pretty blocked just now, though not painful.
I had two quite bad cold and coughs last winter like most people seemed to, but the sinus issues went on and on for ages.
My 2 years finish at the end of April, I’m hoping the coming winter and spring won’t be so bad!
All the best xx
Interesting, thank you Cynoptimistic , I’ve always had a slightly stuffy nose but it’s definitely worse now. Yes I had pretty virulent sinusitis in July but it really doesn’t seem that it’s totally cured? It did respond well to the antibiotics, but I guess because it was Doxycycline I couldn’t involve sunshine to help dry it up!

Great to get back to choir this lunchtime! I’ve missed singing. I took Henry for his morning walk, and a shorter one when home after choir, as it looked like rain (it did after we got back)
Tomorrow daughter has got me a guest voucher for a David Lloyd gym, I’m booked into an aqua-fit class.

Aqua fit class was good, can’t believe it was my first time back in a pool since before my first brush with bc in 2018! It felt very odd and I was a touch panicky to start with. But knitted knocker worked fine! I’d used a pocket (pack of two) that I’d bought some time ago from M&S, and tacked it into my swimming cossie after trying things on a few times and adjusting the knitted knocker to suit. I had wondered if it might try to float but it seemed ok.
Just been treated to a tasty high protein lunch and a smoothie by daughter, and I guess she will need to get back to Henry and then maybe meet me back here at an arranged place!
