But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

……And there’s peace here! (Henry-dog has gone)
I know it’s early, but I’d tidied the lawn edges yesterday and decided to mow it today while it was fine. Now of course, it’s raining. Soon I will do a feed regime as if I’m away in April it can do most of the growing in March so it won’t need cutting a huge amount while I’m away.

I didn’t get that much sleep but felt well enough to get going, filled Goldie-van with fuel, did the usual clean and oil of the Bombe, checked Enigma as the person who showed it to the public yesterday (our proper demonstrator was unwell so someone stood in) had reported a problem. It had no problem at all, verified by one of our engineers too. I duly wrote in the log book.
We all had an early lunch and then on my way home I collected my new contact lens from the eye department in the hospital. And yes, vision is definitely better, phew!
Did some necessary shopping at our local Lidl, together with some not that necessary but useful items (as you do!)
Daughter arrives back this evening, and will be away again tomorrow!
