But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Hi moomy , that sounds like a very productive day! Re passport photo, my home photo kept being rejected due to poor lighting and shadows. So I had mine done at the Post Office, not in a booth as that’s gone, but by a member of staff. They do this service where the photo is taken against an acceptable background, then it’s emailed to you there and then. It’s then easy to insert into your online passport application. I also got actual copies but I don’t think needed them for anything. Could be worth asking in yours if they offer that service? It wasn’t expensive and was very straightforward. Love and hugs, HFxx
Well worth thinking about, thank you HappyFeet1 , I’m not in a hurry so can wait till I can get the best result possible. I know there are booths not too far away, might just get to one by bus next week.

Thanks Jayhay quite worried but got to face it. Roll on monday!! Ive had an allergic reaction to something (make up possibly) today - bit like hay fever eyes so hope that doesnt bugger it up with thr chemo plan. Like your glass moomy - my parents bought a set like that on holiday somewhere but they were in the glass case for show only - so you're beyond belief posh! They dont drink wine really either which might be the other reason they were in there!!!!

Astonished to catch a photo of a Red Kite almost overhead this afternoon, usually I hear ‘mewing’ and find they are too far away for a decent shot but didn’t hear this at all, whisked my phone out of my pocket in time!

i think I need to get out for a walk today, the sun is trying to get out from not-very-thick clouds, and I feel I need some fresh air. Might walk into town and see if there are any early spring flowers in the park. I bought a bunch of daffs yesterday in Lidl, one has already begun to bend its head and split….i do so love spring!
