But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

We watched the service last night and the Cenotaph service today too, even though it all had to be so very different it was still very moving.
I popped out while the Last Post was being played to see/hear if anyone locally was playing it, sadly not, and I’m not sure if anyone actually stood outside in our close to observe the two minutes silence. We did, but indoors.
it’s been a strangely quiet and damp day here. Stay safe, all

Hi @Moomy unless they've changed the form let your daughter know she may receive a box of groceries from Boris"
last time to get supermarket slot you had to answer yes to say you needed support for shopping . I then had free box for at least three weeks until I managed to stop deliveries .
glad she will get slot I've still got mine from last time .
I think she too has kept her slot as she’s never stopped shielding and until most people are immune/protected from a vaccine I suspect she will need to continue. I’ve certainly kept my slot going, in fact have 2 from different shops, I alternate week by week.
