But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Think it will rain now as I found the long handled brush and car shampoo and have washed the van! Well, not the roof which would need a huge ladder! And it’s clouded over already.....sorry!!!
Poor Henry-pup has been bitten by another dog, on the side of his chest. Got seen by a vet straight away and given a clean and antibiotics plus anti inflammatories. Seen by their own vet yesterday morning, wound is into the chest wall muscle, hair clipped, wound cleaned again but already started healing, they need to continue treatment of tablets. Poor lad went to zoom to the door as usual but groaned and stopped, it must have hurt, poor lad. He was treated like royalty, lots of cuddles and fed and watered from his temporary bed on the sofa! Today he’s much brighter though, apparently, thank goodness. It’s awful when fur babies are unwell.

More outside work to do today; drilling into the base of the remains of the olive tree to use SBK on the roots.
And it looks as if the drive work will start tomorrow (a few days early due to a cancellation) which is great, it’s a worry but will be so great when complete. I hope they come complete with a loo, and that they locate services ok (gas, water, power and phone lines) as we can’t afford to get cut off by any! It’s going to be a resin bonded drive, across the whole of the front of the house and garage, they will be digging deep, putting in foundations then a porous layer of tarmac-type, then the resin bonding a few days later.

Vehicles moved in readiness! Our neighbour has offered part of her drive for the Landy, I duly wriggled that in and then we’ve parked the van between the two drives of dropped kerbs. May have to move it again but hey, we are nearly ready!
And another neighbour will be out from early Saturday till late Sunday so is happy for us to park the van there if it would help, bless him.
Penalties of having a long wheelbase vehicle!

They said they’d be here at 8 and they were! Fortunately we’ve managed to get the van parked opposite as the neighbour said they aren’t using one car at all so we aren’t blocking anything else.
Drive is all dug up, they are waiting for delivery/collection of all the rubbish, and then will start construction! First hardcore and then a porous tarmac type layer. Then next week sometime the final coat. Wow. Then we will have to wait 3 days before driving onto it.

And I’m exhausted! Looking after hubs (who is a nervy type and it’s put him off his food!) and watching out for three workmen too!
I’ve been chasing around like a blue-a***-fly! But have managed one washing load - oh and I’ve driven the van!!!
