But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Washing is blowing nicely on the line, and I’ve just pinned up a new pair of trousers that daughter helped with, ready to cut and sew the hems. Unfortunately M&S didn’t have the right leg length in stock when we dared shop! And I wasn’t going to risk ordering to necessitate a further trip to the store. Quite happy to shorten as needed, as the rest fits well.

Hi,moomy...such a relief it isn’t so humid...was continually washing last week due to perspiration!sorry...not a pretty picture...my curtains are back up now,am glad,as some times it even feels a bit nipple without them.(a few days ago one fell down -total mystery)
But living alone, had to call a man out to do it...Don’t have power tools, and if I fell while doing it myself who would know?another casualty of COVID...found weeks later by a passing Policeman....so if I do something like that I take my mobile phone with me...was caught out once without it,locked in the loo!!Never again xx
I would hate to hear that you’d been found!
Walk into town today, shower gel for the Van, delivering sharps boxes to the reluctant medical centre (they tried to tell me that pharmacies were now collecting them!!!), butchers and some fruit from the farmers market. Plus I bought a wee potted plant for the lovely lady who gave me a couple of sachets of yeast and flour way back just into lockdown, the florist wrapped it and tied a pretty ribbon round for me too. Will pop round later this evening, with a card too.
i also collected our prescriptions from the pharmacy, he said ‘you’re venturing out now, then? ‘ I explained that it was very little due to our lass having no immune system and having to give herself immunoglobulin and he nodded

Thankfully it eased and I slept well.
really feeling the lack of walking now, I suspect now that the weather is cooler even though still humid I might brave the outside world for some of my favourite walks again, maybe if on decent pavements, hubs might wheel too.
i did pop round with the cyclamen, she was so pleased and tickled that I had remembered.
