Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
What a gorgeous outlook from your tent Snowys Mum bet the stream was lovely and cooling.
Sounds like a fun trip Violetsniff I did the Chester tour bus a few years ago and learnt so much even though I’ve lived here all my life, you really don’t take enough notice of what’s on your door step sometimes.

We spent many happy hours ' walking' at Cheshire Oaks?( Have I remembered the name?). We lived near Telford then in the Severn Valley. French friends came every year to buy their Levi's.......how times change. I don't think any of the four of us would get an arm in the straight legs now!
Today I am hoping, with no appointments and no OH concerns to do a proper walk......Hoping!
Lovely photos ladies, pretty views from your open top bus Violetsniff. And frolicking in a stream sounds perfect in this weather Snowys Mum!
Well I have finally made it to Scotland, third time lucky after 2 cancelled trips, braved the train yesterday and it was fine! Hot on the first 2 trains, mask definitely makes it so mu worse but cooler for the biggest chunk. Here are my first glimpses of bonnie Scotland from the train….just north of Berwick

Just catching up here and enjoying your lovely pics, you’ve all been busy and visiting lots of nice places!
I met an ex colleague yesterday we had a lovely walk along a local disused rail track, it’s a 14 mile long nature walk now but we only did a short portion and had a picnic lunch. Good to be in the shade.
Will try and post a pic if it will let me!
