Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
I did what my Apple Watch told me was a mile of jogging/stomping on the spot to music.
there was a photo posted in the towns Facebook page which told me I was so right, the sun had brought out too many folk for my comfort!
But tonight I may have ruined all my good intentions as I phoned the chippy and placed an order! Ha!

Moomy
I think that’s a brilliant idea,moomy!
my old nursing friends and I were to be found sitting on a long bench eating chips and drinking coffee on a very cold day yesterday. We visited the River and Walked around it.I had to sit while the others carried on and had to keep moving as the swans got out to come to me for bread.( I had chucked a whole tin of it to the Geese who also stormed me for food.I got a bit scared! How silly is that?
well her is the vid to prove it!
they are so kind to come and visit! Xx
That’s great Violetsniff. They make me laugh!
i had a good walk Sunday with my friend, the sun was bright and setting.
In the midst of my gloom a ray of sunshine ️
Meet Thistle... another member of my walking gang ( in a few weeks time) my family thought she’d keep me going!
Lovely photos everyone and definitely don’t mess with the geese Violetsniff!
Ricecrispie, Thistle looks adorable, the perfect mood lifter. There’s nothing like a warm puppy!
Walked with a friend yesterday but it was too misty (and too busy chatting) for photos. Today the skies cleared so blue skies and a lovely sunset. And lastly our fur baby asking very politely for her dinner! Love to all, HFxx
