Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Wow that’s amazing moomy the first photo does look like a river. I hope there wasn’t too much damage in the surrounding areas due to the weather.
This is a lovely sunset from our holiday a few months ago in Yorkshire. Don’t know when we will get away again x x
Gorgeous ,(great name)
well yesterday 2 of my old Nursey friends came to see me.It was lovely,we went for cream tea and sandwiches and walked alongside the River and round in a circle. At one point we got surrounded by swans!!It was sunny but freezing.big coat weather now!Level 3 .!
No walks today as the weather looked dodgy, so I did my step on the spot routine instead. Two miles equivalent.....
then some gardening......
Hugs xxx

Lovely photos ladies, and yes that dog really is like a pony Violetsniff! Would need a bin bag rather than a poo bag! Have had some lovely walks this past week, some too wet for photos. Loving the autumn colours. Also saw a kingfisher yesterday! No photo of course, just a flash of brilliant blue. Sorry my photos are posting all over the place! HFxx and the text position keeps changing.
