Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
thankyou
It is good to do exercices indoors, moomy!
mine consist of disco dancing or walzing!!It is very difficult in my flat but I can go out into the hall way and back so thats ok.Just missing a partner!!!
I got caught In the thunder and lightening yesterday,on my way back from shopping.I am glad the shops are open at least some.It feels more normal and I can chat to the assistants .I took top back which was torn after washing once, and got a gift voucher, but I couldn’t get out of the shop before seeing something in the Sale and immediately back tracking and buying it with my gift voucher!
Anyway,I was so wet, even with a brolly, that outside I put it down and did a little dance in the rain.Potty I know.
Dancing in the rain sounds less potty than shopping to me Violetsniff after working in retail I don’t like shopping .
Starting to walk again
Managed a three mile walk to nearby village a couple of times this week . Then yesterday went to local parkland took some pics but won’t let me upload for some reason

Hi all, glad you’re getting out walking again Northerner, it’s definitely my sanity saver. And enjoy your retail therapy Violetsniff! Kept meaning to post photos from last week’s long walk as I finally saw some ‘new’ ducklings instead of duckteens, but couldn’t get on the site at all yesterday and gave up trying. Here’s hoping today it’s all working!
No luck! Oh well they were very cute and also got some lovely photos of poppies, sheep and trees. But you’ll have to take my word for it!
Love to all, HFxx

Lovely photos Northerner and I look forward to the caption competition ! Great walk today with my poles, my favourite solo walk via Marshes, woods and heaths, then back through country estate. Was thrilled to see a heron, then another came along! Managed to catch them together looking all flapping wings and gangly. Then the original took off, tried to photograph it on the wing but not quick enough. Will try to post some photos.... Lots of love to all, HFxx
Ducks from last week:

And then there was one....
Was meant to say ... look forward to the caption competition Violetsniff!! Xx
