Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Seaspirit so sad to hear your news, she must have been very special to be Matron of Honour for you.
Yesterday I was getting ready for work, it was a bit overcast and drizzly so I went out the back door to do a temperature check, look who was there! First time I’ve seen him here for about 2 years.
Almost 3 mile walk with sones and dogs this afternoon

Lovely photos and Flossie25, also love your flower arrangement Violetsniff.
Busy day, Nordic walking first thing then later walk to next town. Cooler thank goodness but still very sweaty!! Saw swan family again, sadly looks like it’s a single parent with 2 teenagers, don’t know what happened to the mate. Also saw a heron, might be too far away to see in photo...
Thank you lovely friends fro your good wishes xx
Nice walk this morning, some sun, but manageable temperatures (for me). I had a sleevless top and shorts, and everyone else was in fleeces.
Went to Tai Chi tonight, really enjoyed it, but was shattered when I got home.
Worth it though! Eye slow,y healing. Xxx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
, how are you ? Big hugs xxxx

Hello,lovely friends!
wow this is “elegant bird page”....loving your heron HappyFeet1!,
I would love to try and draw him....
Meanwhile...talking of fleeces,There seems to be one week in a year where very hot bocomes very cold, and this seems to be it...have pulled out the fleece blanket and am already using it some eveings.Determined not to put heating on yet as they have raised my monthly cost by £6 ,they happily told me....oh...I think it must have been the electric blanket last winter...as I turned my control on my storage heater down to half all winter, but it didnt seem to halve my bill....but oh,it was so comfy....
Xxx
Well,I might have been a little premature turning into a little old lady in last post... its a lovely day!!
However I spent ages trying to dowmload my visitir to town to add tomy last post... but basically it wont let me. So here’s a new post with our very handsome visitor, seen in town this morning, and a stall holder came out from the market with a box of carrots and a turnip for him...and I got to stroke his nose...
