Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Take care , more hugs, and hope you sleep.
Hope you are getting proper help from OTs and Physios now xxx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!

I dislike extreme heat too, makes me feel rubbish...it’s very debilitating... sounds as though it’s sweltering there. I’m in cooler climes as compared to home ... India
seaspirit44 get well soon.. you and OH enjoy the rest
Violetsniff lovely pictures ... you’re doing fab getting out and about and going to your activity classes. Once we push ourselves to do something we find we enjoy it don’t you think
well .. I’ve not been out for an early morning walk since the other day but I’ve been doing my exercises and yoga daily plus did a short time on the treadmill.
hope it’s cooler for you soon
xx

Thank you Flossie25, slowly getting there, energy coming back Went on a local park walk without flaking out, and sooo enjoyed it. Still have to sort my eye out. Poked myself in the eye at the start of it all, and still sore a week later!! Seeing optician. What a. Idiot!! Xxx me not the optician.

I hope it’s cooler today for everyone. seaspirit44 pleased you’ve been out and about without feeling flaky...on the up. Steady away. It’s so easy to poke oneself in the eye, or whack oneself in the mouth as I’ve often done... ouch. I’m in the south ..lovely pic
out for walk to shops last evening... today I’m behind with exercises, thought I’d have breakfast first, so must do something soon. I’ll certainly be out for a walk later...might go to a local park ( in a city )
Xx
