Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.

Glad you've finished the cockerel - good luck with the new project!
Been swimming again today, quieter, kids back at school.
My Fragrent Cloud rose (anniversary/valentines present from DH) has come into bloom. Gorgeous big red flower. The Emma Hamilton is budding and will bloom soon.
My new little cherry tree has a bad infestation of black fly, so I am spraying it every evening. Waiting till almost dark so I don't catch any bees. It seems to be OK at the moment, fingers crossed. Xxx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!

Hi chums, not Shropshire or Derbyshire though good guesses. I’m in Yorkshire and admittedly it’s not the best pic. Here is a clue Bar Tat.
been having a great time with my lovely nephews (4 & 7) they know Aunty has had an operation and can’t play football at the moment... which is a blessing! I’m restricted to jigsaws and draughts which is a lot easier.
Hugs to you all

Here’s a pic from today, did about 5 miles walk which is the furthest I have walked since surgery. The walk did incorporate a lunch stop and afternoon tea at the end!
Hi all, walked around Dunham Massey NT park today with my friend. The rose garden is absolutely beautiful. It ha s been open a few years now, but at the start they kept chickens on the ground, and you can see the benefit.
Very tired today, think I did too much swimming and walking yesterday xxxx
