Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
I've tried many times to post pics but for some reason it does not work! Xxx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
....sorry,don’t know...is it a prison?
am afraid I have given up trying to post pictures in the interest of saving my sanity!!
its a shame really coz I love pictures xx
Yes indeed Violetsniff - it is! It is HMP Dartmoor!
I've tried to post some other pictures of other places we went yesterday, but the site is being a complete pain for me as well - sometimes it will do it, sometimes it won't!
Given up for now...
Ooh , not sure where it is, looks a bit like Lancashire, but also looks like a prison, so stumped.
Looks like a bit of a steep hike up the hill behind it!

Aha, yes I wasn’t quite sure but Dartmoor it is!
Had a looong walk this afternoon, had an extra rehearsal and our MD lives about 3 miles away, so walked along the old railway track. Unfortunately where it crosses the canal they have obviously had a problem with the bridge so it’s closed. So I had to make a detour.....thank goodness I left plenty of time as I still made it with about 6 minutes to spare! (Hate being late!) so after a rehearsal stood on my feet it was another walk home! I’m feeling it now, (but the Apple Watch is delighted, I made my exercise and move times!)
Sat with a glass of white now....
Hugs xxx
