Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Thanks lasses … I rubbed leaf and it definitely Lemon Balm.

This is a ‘spot the pigeon in its nest’ photo….which did post! Just near our back door
Ooo! That beady eye ! We have nesting pair in neighbours tree as ours was topped so nowhere to hide . Dexter really is reactive with them as they encroach too much in his area lol
Work is continuing with Lowther castle gardens
They are so clever, how they build nests that survive our weather. All this torrential rain. How to they keep their young alive. Nature is just amazing. I wish I could post videos as well. Xx
Haha Lacomtekp , definitely not intended for a pie! Hoping to see the chicks but also hoping that the nest is secure enough - it’s a plumtious pigeon but quite a scraggy little tree so I can’t imagine that the nest is very sturdy. We’ll see. Hopefully our dog won’t react in any way Northerner as she is not usually at all interested in birds. Cats are a different matter! She hates them so hopefully no marauding felines will come near.
Lovely walk in countryside yesterday, saw this goose family near the river. There are 3 goslings but quite well camouflaged in the grass. Love to all, HFxx
