Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.

Life is like a boxing match, defeat is declared not when you fall ..... But when you refuse to stand up again ....... So, I get knocked down but I get up again. x
Leolady56 that’s ace! I’m on a mission to get our visiting peacocks to show me their full display, I guess I have to be attractive and appealing to them...
Well done everyone who got out today despite the weather. I went for a bluebell walk with a couple of friends and our dogs managed to dodge the rain.
good night and good sleeps all of you
Beautiful, Leolady! Xx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Just got back from my third bike ride since surgery, managed 50 minutes today. I know I will feel pooped later but I really wanted to go as I think after today we are going to get a lot of wet days. Boo!
i was hoping to see some lambs to photo but didn’t so instead here is one of my camelli, I hope it brings you a bit of cheer if you have been stuck indoors.
Went around Tatton Park after a nice lunch in their cafe. Thought the weather would be bad, but the sun came out. Saw a duck family with 4 ducklings. They can really get some speed up when left behind, almost planing.Lots of cherry trees and the rhodedndrons are coming out. Xxxx

others...well done for your lovely -sounding exercisex
Love the Camelias, Amalie - such perfect flowers!
Well - did my 20 mins running and made it round the whole circuit of the park - whoop whoop!
Now - here is a fairly rubbish photo - there was a tiny little coot I was trying to get but heard a huge kerfuffle - hence the blurry pic. It was the heron! Coming to feast on the baby birds, I suspect. Luckily he was swiftly seen off by a goose and a couple of ducks. I wasn't quick enough to photograph it - but it was pretty impressive. Now I know why I haven't seen him around lately! No developments at the swans nest.
Hope everyone's having a great weekend!
R
Well done Ronstar! Glad the baby birds survived. Xxxxx

Today did a local walk with DH. We had a ride on one of the model stem trains in one of the parks. We were the only adults there with no accompanying children! Xxxx
