  • Everyone seems to be having an early night tonight. Well, I beat you all to it, as I went to bed before 4pm! Ooh it was lovely! Dec put the blanket on for me and it was just like a warm bath, all snuggly! I woke up at around 10:30 so am now wide awake!

I hope all has gone well for those with appts today. I am with the surgeon tomorrow, but it is just the follow up from my scan and he gave me the all clear there n then, so not worried.

It is my birthday on Thursday,  so get those virtual cakes ready. 52 this year!!!

A while ago, I decided that I needed lots of things to look forward to, so we booked something special for each month throughout the year! This month we have a lovely Pink and Black Tie Ball in aid of BC. I told people in the village and we now have 56 people going! I am really looking forward to it. I wish some of you could come too! Xxx

Have a lovelly sleep all! Xxx

None of us wanted to be in this group, but we are glad we're not alone.

RR Mx Jan 23. Still waiting for reconstruction, but opting for simple implants, as opposed to Diep, due to long waiting lists for diep.

    Hi Jo

I am still awake but will go to bed shortly.

Since finishing Arimidex after 10 years I seem to be having really vivid dreams!!!!!

Have some hot flushes again too followed by lizard mode. At 68 I thought the hot flushes would be gone for good   LOL

    All the best

    Sue xxxx

  • Gurrrrrrr why can’t i sleep?

Well I have tried everything including my relaxing music and I still cant sleep. Of course now I have said that I will probably fall asleep suddenly.

  • I'm awake, I've been on Moonpig trying to do a nice photo birthday card for my Mom, its either me been as slow as a tortoise or it the site freezing, thankfully I took photos of the pages before their site decided loose all my photos and wording - I have now achieved 'nothing' for the past 6 hours apart from a stiff neck and tired eyes arrrggggghhh.

you share the same birthday as my Mom - which accounts for why you are on the go 'all the time'.  My Mom won't put anything off, get it done, then its out of the way..... I'm more the just start this, leave it, lets start that, lets leave it - oww is that the time, I best have a nap kind of person.

Hoping tomorrow goes really well for you with your surgeon tomorrow.  If you feel you need to ask any questions 'ask' - just say, Dec's told you to ask :)

, I hope the dreams aren't too bad for you.  Dreams can be so nice, yet some so real and frightening - I hope you find some way to ease them.  I wonder, if the Arimidex was taking the hormone out of your body, now you aren't taking it, could it be that your body is still making a very small amount and as this leaves your body you get the flush - just a thought.

Right my lovelies - I'm off to bed - Nighty Night xxxx

I'm hoping this makes sense - only my mind says one thing and my fingers type whatever they like x
  • Well that was the night of the NON SLEEP!!! Went to bed about 12, read my book for a bit, tried to sleep but tossing and turning, got up at 2 had a drink and a wee and went back about 2.30. Read my book again for a while ( really good, page turner!!). Tried AGAIN to sleep but no still tossing and turning, looked at clock 4.30, knew it wasn’t  going to happen so have eventually got up. Having a coffee and went into garden to listen to Mr Blackbirds morning song , so sweet!! So it must be dusk. Will do some knitting and put tv on as DH is still sleeping.

BLOODY STEROIDS have a lot to answer for!!!

Have first T treatment today at 12, will probably fall asleep!!!!
