Seven seas glucasamine plus omega 3 tablets helped me. Quite pricey around £5 a box in Tesco, Asda etc but I found it in home bargains at £3. I took it for the first few months, now I don't bother.

Went for appointment with no eyebrows (onc) today. Wasn't important enough to see him, only saw the lovely nurse. Anyway results from my oophie, everything was all clear - there was nothing suspicious in my ovaries. Not that I thought there was, but it is good to know anyway. The best news for me was that I can stay with that hospital team so although I have to change GP, I don't have to change the hospital. All done and dusted, back in a year's time!

Hope evrybody else's appointments went ok.

    Cwtches,

Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!

  • Hi All, I am tired after my journey to work today. I got stuck in traffic both ways so ended up doing 6.5+ hours driving! It was nice to see everyone though and I made sure my makeup was done properly to make my hair look better!

, Jane, good luck for tomorrow. LPs and LNPs will no doubt be loaned to you by Sal and we are all going to be thinking about you. I am sure it will be good news and we will be waiting to hear!

, what fantastic news About the oophie and staying with your hospital!!!

Anyone else with appointments, good luck! It has been a hard few days for some of you and I am so sorry that I can’t do anything to help. I wish there was a magic wand, but if there was, we all would have waved it long ago and not met each other. Much as I hate this, I am glad that we all found each other. Xxx

None of us wanted to be in this group, but we are glad we're not alone.

Diagnosis 2/8/17 IDC Her2+, 22mm, with spread to several lymph nodes. TCHP chemo started 23/8/17, Mx with immediate, temp recon 24/1/18, rads 20/3 to 10/4/18, Herceptin by IV until Nov 18. RR Mx Jan 23. Still waiting for reconstruction, but opting for simple implants, as opposed to Diep, due to long waiting lists for diep.

  • Oh no long day for you joedec. Xx

    Peace and plenty. Xx

  • Glad you're home safe !!

    Great news Gay !!

It looks like my arm and back is a few more nerves coming back to life. There is no swelling, and it's been fine all day even with replacing a system. So good news. And I will be seeing Oncologist rather than surgeon in October to get discharged from oncology.

    xx
