.
Good luck to everyone with appointments, tests and results today - hope that LP does his job, even when he's spread a little thin!
And toxophilite - good luck for the audit today - hope it's not too painful!
Just a line flush for me today and then scanning all my onco letters to Occ Health re: my medical retirement. Apparently they have lost the ones that my boss sent with the referral (or they deny getting them, which is weird given they got the referral!) Still, at least they seem to be on the ball a bit more this time - last time I had to do ALL the running...
Happy Tuesday to everyone!
Morning all. Whoa!!! Nearly 200 emails phones going crazy. Just want to say to anyone getting results today thinking of you and praying for good news. To all of you going through chemo hope you are coping it's very hard I know but you will get through it. Also anyone having surgery good luck it's scary having any op but you will be ok. Sal thinking of you hope you are ok. Mr sox been thinking of you too. Optimistic hope you are ok also. Sending lots of love and hugs to you all. Xxx
Peace and plenty. Xx
Morning all!!
Actually managed sleep after a fashion. Restless, but sleep.
LondonLass - LP doesn't need to come all the way over here - the others need him far more today. I think he'd be a bit bored really, and fall asleep and miss the next one. Hope you managed a better night, and the day doesn't drag too much for you.
JoDec tagging didn't work on my tablet last night (although the notifications are slow after the weekend backlog) just wondering how you're doing. Thinking of you.
Sun's out today, paperwork is (mostly) done. How bad can it be?
xx
Karen
Thank you LondonLass and LP, especially for your kind words. It means such a lot xx
Will look after LP well.Â
Good luck to everyone having treatment or results today xxx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Hi All, apologies for the absence! Nothing has happened, nothing to worry about, just very busy with life! I didn't get any notifications of tags either, so didn't realise I had been missed! I won't even attempt to catch up on the posts, as it is hard enough when I have been away for just a few hours, let alone days, lol. If anyone has asked something specific, can you ask again please? I hope everyone is well and maybe we have a couple of newbies on the thread? If so, hello! If there are any additions to the Bham meet too, I will have missed them, so can someone please give me a nudge!
I'll attempt to go through the thread, but I have loads of work to do, court docs to go through, insurance to deal with, a flat to renovate etc etc! It seems that life has finally caught up with me again! I missed you all! Xxxxx

None of us wanted to be in this group, but we are glad we're not alone.
Diagnosis 2/8/17 IDC Her2+, 22mm, with spread to several lymph nodes. TCHP chemo started 23/8/17, Mx with immediate, temp recon 24/1/18, rads 20/3 to 10/4/18, Herceptin by IV until Nov 18. RR Mx Jan 23. Still waiting for reconstruction, but opting for simple implants, as opposed to Diep, due to long waiting lists for diep.
Horrid Horrid morning, followed by an okay afternoon then home to my new bed! It looks lovely, nothing like a hospital bed! The only thing is I feel hungry every time I look at it.........
DON'T KNOW WHY...............
Hee hee hee, couldn't resist, it doesn't really look like this!
So how did any of the appointments go today? seaspirit44 how did you get on Hun? Did L.P behave himself? Xxx
Hi Lisa , just wanted to say, I hope you are being well looked after. I have heard that the over night staff are great fun..........
especially if you have some of Zak and Diego's treats in your bag ;-)
Love you Hun and thinking of you xxxxxx
Well Ladies, we are nearly at our next target! Not far to go! Xxx
Hi LondonLass, sorry you had a bad morning, but your bed looks fab! Can see the resemblance to a big buttie!!
LP was the model of good behaviour, kept his crunching of titbits for the long wait.Â
CT was clear, such a relief!! Rang the bell, and my husband took a photo which I put on Facebook.
Can't believe how lucky I have been.Â
Next week Hickman line out, see urologist for Botox, see ENT re hearing aids, mammo after Easter, then colonoscopy.Â
Hugs to you and everyone who had treatments, ops, scans, or results today xxxxxx
