.
Morning everyone. The weather is awful up here. Rain and very windy. However when the sun came out yesterday afternoon it was quite warm.
I had my Picc line put in yesterday. It wasn't exactly comfortable. I'm a bit fed up of walking into rooms full of huge machines that seem to move of their own accord. Yesterday I said an involuntary " Oh My God" as I walked into the room. The nurse obviously thought I was a wimp but as I pointed out she hadn't had 50 radiotherapy sessions. I know they are inanimate objects but my imagination sometimes gets the better of me.
By the time I got home OH was almost running round in circles like a hamster in a wheel trying to distract himself. I now have clean kitchen cupboards! He's also gone through his wardrobe and cleared out all the scruffy clothes. Including a grey cardigan that was originally black. This was the first time he had let me do any of this stuff on my own. I'm just hoping he will be better on Friday. He will take me and pick me up. I might suggest a few jobs that he could do to keep himself distracted. Although if it's fine he will go out on his bike which is much better for him.
I had a dose of chemo brain, before I've even started, when I went back to the car. I couldn't find it! Then I realised I was looking for it where I parked it in the morning when I was at the hospital having blood tests.
Free parking pass worked. So as they say in Strictly "I've started the roller coaster journey."
Have a good day Moomy. I think if it's rainy a trip around the amazing Pavillion would be worthwhile, even if the price is rather steep.
Three times! What did I do?
It’s drizzly this morning here in Brighton, I’m thinking perhaps a second trip around the Pavilion is in order, (yes I know the price is a bit high but the ticket does last for more visits) and a bit of sea-watching too?

Good morning...
Another early start ....OH's diabetic check up.....looking forward to the weekend without rush. Next week we have his biopsy results so yet again another early trip.
Luckily the weather is beautiful. It is already 20° and will be 34° later this afternoon. I had to get some light summer clothes out again yesterday but it isn't going to last long. Back to Autumn by Sunday.
Nature is amazing. Despite the heatwave and draught in July and August, the grass has regrown ready to be cut and the plants have flowered again. Thankfully they flourished with washing up and shower water although they did stop flowering to preserve the roots.
My thoughts to everyone having treatment today. I know chemo is starting for at least one ' fruit loop' and continuing for others.
Take care.
It’s hotter for you of course, Lacomtekp but in the south of England we’ve had an almost cloudless sky much of today and it’s suddenly been summer again. Getting colder by Monday though. Hope the OH’s check up was all ok?
night night Fruit Loops, sleep well and stay safe, plenty of sleepy fairy dust for all who wish

Morning
I've had a pretty good night all things considered. I've been awake alot since midnight but not all of it. I've had some good dozing patches. The worst bit has been the repeated trips for a wee. I know I was suppose to drink plenty to flush out the toxins but I've actually lost count. Flushing as instructed must also have disturbed OH. It can't have done our water bill or Yorkshire water much good either.
I haven't had any sickness or nausea so far which is great but it was the first one. I've a bit of headache but that could be just tired eyes.
It was a very quiet room, and I was there a while. 9.15 until 4.00. Naturally you come out feeling shattered having done nothing all day. I kept trying different things to pass the time. The cross stitch was probably the best. However my earpods started to hurt after a while so had to be abandoned. I've ordered some ordinary headphones I'll see if those are better.
OH was again rather stressed but he fitted in a bike ride, made tea AND got two loads of washing done and dried.
Staff as always were a delight and seemed to have time to chat as they set up the different drugs.
Feel like another doze. I hope you all enjoy your weekends.

Good morning ....
Very wet and stormy night .....very grey today. I have a full house of family ... (except one teaching in London).....very noisy and busy but a nice change. All departing tomorrow.....two grape picking, one surfing!
We have to wait until Tuesday for OH's biopsy results for the possible melanoma on his upper lip. Other than that, quiet week......
Hope you are all ok. I know there was rough weather and flooding across UK yesterday.
Take care.
