I’m thankful she’s with good friends at the present, it’s helping her, plus two dogs who both bring a grin to the face!
How’s the Abemaciclib, @boxoffrogs? Been thinking of you. I’ve just begun using a strengthening nail polish as my nails are flaking a bit, advised by Lacomtekp to use that and remove it using acetone free remover once a week. Another side effect!

Amazingly, daughter’s PET scan has been brought forward and biopsy is on Monday, same day as the ultrasound. PET is on the 15th. They are really speeding along at Oxford, she’s just heard back from her former team at the Christie who say that the top consultant in Oxford is excellent too. So she feels more confident now.

Hey moomy, so sorry your daughter's facing this but good it's moving quickly. I've been a little shaky both physically and mentally recently. Had 4 fillings done at once this week to get my mouth totally sorted ahead of denosumab bone strengthening injections. Dentist had to stop at one point til I managed to stop shaking as I was moving too much. Sigh. But in good news I decide to trust my body, stopped taking all the bowel meds, rode out the first constipation / diarrhoea cycle and amazingly it worked and I'm in an okay place with pooping!! I'm hoping that helps the fatigue too. Still on 150mg abemaciclib but neutrophils are slowly declining so we'll see at next review, which will also be when I get results of the first scans to see if the drugs are working. Already getting nervous though it's not til the start of May. Urgh, scanxiety sucks!
Sorry for not keeping up with folk here better.
xx
