AWAKE.........

Well what a lovely sight - we had no clouds in the sky, a beautiful blue sky and a yellow ball of fun up high.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and like moomy says, that you all had as wonderful Mothering Sunday as possible.

I've not posted much of late, as my brain seems to take forever, saying this I am in the background reading posts.

Plus, I've had a fair bit going on, all 'bitty' things that aren't getting me anywhere other than going around in circles. .... on top of this mom is giving me the run a round too... telling me I have changed and where has the 'real' me gone to (I can only take these as compliments - as I am trying to take no shi* - I haven't the energy or the strength, I am trying not to be the one that tries to do everything and then have no energy for myself (I haven't the energy).  Right, I best go otherwise you all know me I'll be here until the morning.

Only a quick one, has anyone heard from Violetsniff  - I can't recall seeing any reply's or posts (unless I have missed them).

Hi Whathappened.  I just read your bio and I am from West Midlands, just outside Wolverhampton.  I dont normally post on here as I have no trouble sleeping .  Just wanted to say hello.

 WhatHappened ....I was only thinking about Violetsniff  last week. I do hope she is well. Last I read she was having a few problems with both her health and her brother's but that was ages ago.....maybe even end of last year.

If you're just browsing Violetsniff .....just know we are thinking of you.

 Leelaloo ....you don't have to be awake at night to post on this thread. It's there for a chat anytime of day, be it a question, a worry, something everyday or just something that makes you laugh. We understand that sometimes chatting ' virtually' is exactly what is needed.......

Nice to hear from you WhatHappened and I really miss Violetsniff she hasn't been on here for ages. I used to enjoy her crafts and all her sayings. When she got her state pension she said she felt like she was running through fields of golden buttercups. I hope she's still running though the golden buttercups xxx

Hi Everyone,

Pic of me today on a horse.We went to one of those petting farms and the horse rides had nobody around so I thought I may never get another chance (I'm 62 next week)

I was well within the weight required in case you think poor horse.

Awww, super, Snowys Mum and good for you!  62 next week? I’ll be 80 next month!!!

I had my picc line fitted today. First chemotherapy in the morning. I doubt that I will sleep at all tonight. I'm so anxious 

Sending you love and hugs, fear of the unknown,  fear of the side effects we all know how you feel.

I have my 7th session tomorrow and in some ways the time has gone quite quickly,  sorry to say however that the anxiety remains!

Here's hoping we both get some sleep x
