  • Hi all.  It seems I'm not alone with insomnia here.  Mine could have been avoided tonight.  I've been off coffee for a while, after hormone therapy was having an effect on my blood pressure.  This morning (or, yesterday morning, as it is now) I just had to have a small coffee with my breakfast.  Then come the evening, I was eating out and stupidly allowed myself a small but mighty espresso coffee - and now I'm paying the price by not being able to sleep.  Choir practice is at 9am!  Hopefully I'll get something like enough between now and then.  Confused

  • Hi Dulciana

I'm wide awake too. i've not been on for a while as work is so busy.

I am awaiting an MRI scan as I started tripping up 5 weeks ago.  Then this week I full blown fell over in the street. I can't bend the toes on my left foot. The fear of secondary C or that I've had a stroke loom large in my head at night. It could be just a strain but it is so easy to worry xx

  • That must be difficult to deal with, Mag123 and no wonder it's keeping you awake at night.  A friend of mine had a wall plaque above the staircase which read - "Our worst fears are seldom realised".   I hope things turn out better for you than anticipated x

  • I hope you both managed to get a bit more rest, even if you didn’t get back to sleep,  and  ?

felt so rubbish I pulled out of rehearsal today; just hope I can get well enough for Thursday and next Sundays concert!

slept on and off in front of daytime tv!
