Just caught up a bit.

So sorry to hear you have had covid so badly Northerner  and are missing the wedding.  Sorry to hear you are poorly too Flossie25 . I have been to the Czech Republic to see my son. He drove us past his and his wife's flat fhey have purchased (they get the keys this Thursday) and we went on a road trip to Karlovy Vary and same the spring water (absolutely disgusting taste but supposedly good for you). We went on a tour of the famous Moser glass factory and had lunch by the river. We also went to Pilzen which has the tallest church in the country in the town square. The rest of the holiday we wandered round Prague and went to a museum dedicated to Operation Anthropoid in WW2. It was fascinating standing in the crypt where the soldiers had holed up and eventually shot themselves to avoid capture.

I caught a bug while we were away and had a feverish cold and sore throat. I haven't bothered testing but it might well have been covid again. I still feel a bit rough.

I hope you manage to sort out your transport to the radiotherapy moomy I had 5 days of slightly longer sessions of treatment. They had trouble lining me up each time and there were delays with so many patients, so I spent 2 to 3 hours a day at the Christie.

I hope you have recovered from the shocking deer incident Lacomtekp How devastating it must have been.

I have my onco appointment at the breast care clinic this week. Anxious as to what they might find and the reason for the return of pain 2 and a half years after the initial diagnosis. 

I am still awaiting an appointment for the hip/groin scan.

I hope you are all slowly improving and getting back to enjoying something. I have just had 3 days of nightmarishly low energy levels. Doing nothing not an option because it's my son's weekend with us. I have to keep going, his Autism makes it necessary. I think having been away a couple of times in the last month caught up with me. Trying to keep going, my Stepdaughter and Granddaughter are staying tomorrow night. 

We went to Wakehurst Park on Sat and fed the ducks, good to be so popular.

I feel I shouldn’t be talking about such superficial things while people are suffering or poorly,or having tests etc….but here goes….

Well the situation at present is that I have fallen in love ,which I do every month…. but keeping it to self,for different reasons,as he is a lot older,and we are pretty different.I think he needs a mature woman who can cook lovely home made meals and wears sensible clothes and can talk about politics etc.I am a bit young in my style and not very keen on housework and things that many women he will be used to,including his beloved wife…who sadly died.

Also I think I am used to being on my own….

anyway sorry for my musing.I hope others have had a lovely day today and maybe a bit of sunshine? Xxx
