Last weekend I went to stay with my older sister who I can’t see very often,she looks after her 92- year old husband-and it was lovely…but tiring for her.On way back was taken by coach to “Brooklands”and got to go on Concord”…It was just fab.(it didn’t fly off the ground….)

im cautiously hoping my dahlias will survive both winds and any heavy rain, plus slug/snail attack (hope Vaseline round the pots will stop them!) Hostas are newly donated by daughter but are in very tall textured pots and I don’t think they will get any attacks.
