Sorry Mag123 for abrupt first post mistake typing hit reply
Dear Northerner I did not at all view the post as abrupt!
So glad you had a good time. What better than theatre and a meal combined with no hassle of parking!
I have packed my OH off to the cinema this evening to see John Wick 4. Not my sort of film at all. We have Odeon limitless but tend only to go and see films we both like or I want to see. He misses so many that I don't fancy. So I finally persuaded him to make the most of his limitless and go on his own! I meanwhile am curled up in bed with a good book, a hotwater bottle and 2 cats to keep me company!
I ended up going to the shops with my daughter and grandchildren, then going back to play. So an early night beckoned.
Northerner I absolutely adore Les Mis..I've seen it 4 times...would love to see it again, but don't think I'll manage to!
I think Wicked is next on our agenda Dicha unfortunately when we got the tickets for Les Mis , late in the day , they were restricted viewing . Even more restricted by large gent in front who couldn’t sit still lol .
Thanks Mag123 WhatHappened and moomy and others who have posted replies to me plus on other threads. As with others I can only scroll so far back in order to remember names. They do say the most stressful things in life are moving house, a bereavement and illness. I've had a three in the past two years but yes I have good support from other half and family and I do feel lucky compared to some of the journeys other have faced but we can only comment on our own journey so yes I am trying to be nicer to myself. Not managed a decent night sleep yet in past few days but keep trying. Night up all xx
Hello all. Not sure I can post. I've tried replying to this thread a few times lately and nothing happens !
I had physio for knee a few years ago which really helped, I have cracks and splits in the cartilage and osteoarthritis. Keeping moving strangely does help the pain, not that it's there all the time. It moves the synovial fluid around the joint I was told. As to the blue badge I have one for my son, I think it was getting Personal Independent Benefits that helped. Make sure your GP knows how this affects you in case you ever need to apply.
I had a steroid injection in my shoulder after I got bitten by something nasty that affected it. It did work shame there isn't one you aren't allergic to. Staying positive had its affect where you can. I do a little self Reiki when needed. Xx
Hi all. I haven’t gone way back as I just lose track. I’d have to start making notes lol. I hope everyone is doing as well as possible. Looks as though a few outings have been had. I can’t remember the last time we were at the cinema or theatre. We were in London a few times last year but we were meeting folk and eating. Thinking of writing to MP for a tour of Westminster/PMQ’s next we are down. Been busy having some plastering done, so now I need to get my painting head on. Once you start everywhere needs doing. I’m pleased I’m not feeling so off kilter now since tweaking my thyroxine. I did have bloods done and managed to speak with GP last week. TSH 0.28 Dec and now 0.45. Although within range I function much better at 1-1.5. Good to know he’s still there as I’ve only ever seen/talked with a nurse for ages.
Congrats on being signed off Northerner
Tired Minion hope you get some better sleep soon.
Snowys Mum good you and patients survived your shift. It’s rubbish being short staffed. Hope you have next hols in mind The hotel you go to looks good.
moomy hope you’ve recovered from your holiday jaunt. You did better than me in Goldie as I got stuck in a replacement rail bus for 3 and a quarter hours last week after my first train was cancelled. I had to abandon my journey and as I missed my appointment ( missed all connections that would get me to my destination) I have had to rebook.
Have as good a day as possible
