Dear ..hi,So sorry your post has gone. The same happened to mine too.So trying madly to retrieve it,I accidentally have it up twice now!afraid to delete one in case they both go.
it isn’t good especially as new people need to post and get help and end up getting so frustrated.I have said this to Maccy…but can’t remember the reply.
Rant over !!xxx
Wig spent most of the time in box seaspirit44 as I found a beanie hat or braving the bald look didn’t bother me but it did come in handy when I didn’t want bald head to be centre of attention . I and family liked it that much that I now keep hair short ,rather than long bob I sported prior to BC .
Yes since daughter has let hair revert to natural ie no heat treatment or tools hair is same . Her daughters is a lot curlier as it has been been cut into curl since she was small .
here’s daughter now at 52
Just a telephone appointment and first was cancelled. I have never met the oncomogist or anyone from the team but the lady from his team was very helpful if a little practical. Lots of meds being prescribed through the gp to deal with some of the side effects of the letrozole
seaspirit44 Results tomorrow at 10am hopefully
Thanks for thinking of me xxx

Tired Minion, Mag123 and I think it was Figgy2019.
If you need to see your Oncologist Face to Face because you would like to talk properly to them. Contact your BCN if you have one and request a Face to face appointment. The hospitals are doing their best to limit patient numbers, but they are still there and most of them are more than happy to see you if you ask!! If you don't request it then they seem to fob you off with a phone call, which isn't quite the same, although does suit some people!!
It made me think how things have changed. When I was working and a phone appt would of been so much easier for me, they didn't do them. EVERYTHING had to be Face to face, even if you were just going to turn up and be told all looks fine continue as you are!! I used to be so frustrated at taking 45mins to get there, usually waiting over an hour for the Prof to be ready and then be in and out in five minutes!!
However I do now prefer seeing my Oncologist face to face so I remember to ask all of my questions. In fact tomorrow I MIGHT actually get to meet my BCN who I have had for 3years now and I haven't a clue who she is???
Covid has a lot to answer for but using that as an excuse not to see patients isn't good enough! If you ladies NEED to see your team face to face then please request it!! Best wishes to you all. Sal xxx
